Walter Slaughter is a brother of Leatherface, and (in one timeline) a cannibal. He was appeared in Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation. He is the counterpart of Drayton from the first two movies.
In Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, which takes place in its own continuity, Walter is not a cannibal, but involved in an Illuminati conspiracy to spread horror. He first appears in the film, helding Sean at gunpoint when he arrives at the house, while Leatherface attacks Heather. Barry later locks Walter out of the house and he gets killed by Leatherface inside the house. Walter is later called by Darla to bring a plastic bag at her work job to capture Jenny. Walter attacks Jenny with a cattle prod and puts her in the back of Darla's car. He later goes back home, where he teases Leatherface with the cattle prod. Then he is constantly discussing with Darla and is held at gunpoint with the rest of family by Jenny. At dinner, Walter is seen eating pizza and talking to the Grandfather. When Vilmer goes insane, he attacks Walter with a hammer, apparently killing him. Nothing else is known of Walter after this. He often speaks famous poetic phrases, even while torturing people.
Portrayed by Joe Stevens.
In Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, it implies that W.E. is Drayton Sawyer who was executed via gas chamber.
